Rub Some Dirt In It
Day 50/365
Ahhhhhh I honestly didn't think that we would make it this far. Which makes it awesome that we did!
Also, as dark as this picture is, I had a really good day! It was the first day back from spring break and everyone was freaking out and comparing sunburns. This picture was taken with my grandmothers old projector. Its super old and gets really hot, but I drew some lines on a piece of paper and this came out! Taken with the G9.

Distraction #74
Day 38/365
So, trying to make due with my whole broken camera thing. I took these pictures with a canon G9 which is a point and shoot. But my dad lent me this camera and he's going to lend me his 5D for a little while! Also, going to the beach soon so hopefully some cool stuff will come from that!

But when I left your house that morning in that ragged thunderbird
Tried so hard to fight the voices from the devil's that I heard.
See there's a highway to the right of us I took it years ago.
And since a year ago can't drive past, without turning down that road.

Brokdid
Day 37/365
This guy Mark Inglis came and talked to our school about his journey. He was the first double amputee to climb mount everest. He was a rescuer on mount cook and was on a routine climb when the weather on the mountain turned so severe that him and the people with him were forced to live in an ice cave for 13 days without food. He got such bad frost bite in his feet that he was forced to have both legs amputated up to just below his knees. He then went on to climb mount everest. He said that once he got to the top he could see the curve of the world on the horizon. His story is amazing. He kept talking about change and the challenges that change brings. He lost some fingers while climbing Mount Everest and he said that the worst part about not having a middle finger is that in new zealand, where he lives, everyone is a really bad driver. He was a really funny, and positive guy. He ended with this T.S. Elliot quote that said, "Only those who risk going to far, can possibly find out how far one can go." I thought that it was so beautiful. It was really amazing to get to hear him speak. Here is a link to his website if you want to learn more.

Also, my camera broke today, but I got this film developed today. These were the only pictures that turned out.
